Week commencing 17th May
Restrictions around social interaction are easing as the UK comes out of a national lockdown.
Production is government approved to continue throughout the pandemic and any lockdowns - shoots can continue as before, including shooting in locations such as homes
All incoming travellers:
- take a coronavirus (COVID-19) test and get a negative result during the 3 days before you travel
- complete a passenger locator form with details of where you will home quarantine when you arrive and the travel test package booking reference number
Quarantine changes for incoming travellers to England are now in effect (17th May) with a 'Traffic Light' system - Red, Green & Amber country lists:
Green List countries - no quarantine or isolation on arrival into the UK. PCR test on/before day 2 of arrival into UK
Amber List countries - quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days. Take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8. Option to Test to Release with test on Day 5 and early release from quarantine if this test is negative
Countries from which travel to the UK is banned - the Red List- can be found here
Only British nationals/those with UK resident rights can arrive into England from a country on the Red List and must then quarantine in a government quarantine hotel. Full information is here
All previous travel corridors are suspended and the exemption to advertising production no longer applies
TEST TO RELEASE is the system meaning anyone arriving into England can pay for a COVID test, quarantine for at least five days and if the test is negative they may then end quarantine but must still take tests on Day 2 & Day 8 as above

The UK commercial production industry, led by our industry body APA - Advertising Producers Association, has successfully created a set of government recognised guidelines to shoot safely and responsibly and these can be viewed here. There are no government restrictions on size although social distancing of 1-2 meters remains in place. Studio spaces are open, including Mount Pleasant Studio which is where our London office is based
As members of the APA we strictly follow industry & government guidelines of health & safety around COVID-19. Please do not hesitate in contacting us if you would like to discuss these in more detail and how the guidelines will work on a production.
