Maximilla Lukacs

A stylish and contemporary film-maker, Maximilla has an eye and sensibility that lends itself to fashion and beauty with great effect. Original, enigmatic and captivating, Maximilla's world is viewed through rose tinted lenses with a laid back LA vibe. Beautifully art directed her work is modern yet with a feeling of nostalgia.

A graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute, she is an award winning filmmaker and fine artist whose works have been showcased at prestigious film festivals and galleries around the globe and have been covered by publications Vanity Fair, V, Lula, Elle, Nylon among others. In 2012 she co-founded the Department of Peace, an organization that is geared toward creating consciousness raising content and inspiring young people toward political action. In the past few months Maximilla has co-directed a series of very successful PSAs that have featured the likes of  Yoko Ono, Lena Dunham, Lesley Gore, Miranda July, Joseph Gordon Levitt & Susan Sarandon.
